Q. What is the MOQ for TOK’s product?

A. MOQ is only set for bearings.

･Bearings: 100 pcs (special bearings such as chemical-resistant is available from 1 pc.)

･Other products: 1 pc

 

Q. What is the size of the packing box?

A. There are three types of packing boxes: small, medium, and large.

The dimensions are as follows.

Q. What are the payment methods? Is it possible to pay by credit card?

A. In most cases, we request payment from our customers via bank transfer.

For transactions of small amount, credit card (VISA/Mastercard) payment is also available.

Q. Where are TOK products produced?

A. Our products are produced at factories in Japan and China.

Q. Is it possible to trade using our courier account?

A. Yes, it is possible.

Q. Do you have chemical-resistant products?

A. Yes, the following are our main chemical-resistant products.

Bearings: PK/PV series

Rotary damper: TD99 series

Please contact us for more details about chemical-resistant materials that we have available.

 

Q. Does TOK provide product samples? Is it possible to try some samples of typical products?

A. Yes, we can provide a paid sample.

We also offer a sample box containing a collection of our main products.

Q. If I request a sample, can you ship it out immediately?

A. If the product is in stock, it can be shipped on the same day at the earliest.

Q. Can TOK design products according to customers’ specifications?

Can you make a prototype for me?

A. We can design products according to your specifications and also make prototypes.

TOK have designed and produced multiple of custom products to meet our customers'

specifications. Please feel free to consult with us.

Q. How many types of files can convert CAD data?

A. It is possible to convert from approx. 100 types of files.

Q. Is it possible to get a quotation without any technical drawings that I’ve produced?

A. Yes, it is possible. If you give us the product information, we will create a drawing for you and quote it.

Make inventory management easier with TOK dampers

If you have purchased dampers or are considering purchasing dampers, do you have any of these problems?

"I have a surplus of dampers in stock, but the torque doesn't match and I can't substitute them for other applications.”

Our product "Torque-Adjustable Damper: TD27/TD28" is compatible with various applications, and can solve such problems.

Two features of the adjustable damper: TD27/TD28

1. More than twice the torque range covered by a single damper

The torque of the damper can be adjusted, so there is no need to purchase a damper with torque that matches your application.

To adjust the torque, simply tweak the side of the damper with a flathead screwdriver.
 

Since the torque adjustment range is more than doubled, the same adjustable damper (TD27/TD28) can be used for both 0.49 N-m and 1.27 N-m machines.

 By adjusting the torque, it is possible to respond with greater precision to applications.

2. Eight possible mounting options of damper & bracket.

The position of damping hinge (damper & bracket) can be changed depending on how the dedicated bracket is attached to the damper.
 
It is also easy to install and space-saving.

Mechanism of the torque limiter

The torque limiter has the mechanism that protects an object (e.g. machine ) from overload.

For example, if an electric screwdriver (object) including a torque limiter receives an overload, then the torque limiter cuts off the input to prevent the screw from being overtightened.

3 Advantages of choosing TOK torque limiters

- High rotation speeds

The most significant merit to choose TOK torque limiter is rotation speeds.

You can select from 2 kinds of torque limiters: Spring type and magnet type.

Magnet type has the world's highest rotation speeds, it is suitable for high-speed rotating machinery.

Also, if you want to control larger torque, you can use a spring type limiter.

- Easy operation

If the torque exceeds the rated value, the torque limiter detects the excess and blocks the transmission of rotation by slipping, and rotation is transmitted within the rated torque. 

It works in the same way if the direction of rotation is reversed.

No special operations are required, and TOK torque limiters are easy to install.

-Comfortable for use

One of the characteristics of TOK torque limiter is less backlash.

By modifying your product with TOK torque limiter, you can provide a  stress-free product to your customers.

Mechanism of the one-way clutch

A one-way clutch has a mechanism that locks rotation in one direction and transmits the power in the opposite direction. 

It is often used for office automation equipment. One-way clutches prevent the paper from tearing when it is ejected.

An advantage of TOK one-way clutches

You can purchase not only a single clutch element, but also a clutch element with a custom housing.

So which is the best way to purchase?

TOK recommends purchasing the clutch element as a set with the custom housing for the following reasons.

Normally, when customers install the clutch element into the housing themselves:

-The clutch element does not fit in the housing

-The clutch element falls out of the housing

Suppose we design the most appropriate housing for TOK one-way clutch and incorporate it into the clutch element. In that case, you do not have to worry about them.
