Rotary viscous damper movement can be customized

TOK rotary dampers provide you gentle movement to get safety and luxury.
Typically the damping behavior of dampers moves at constant velocity,
however TOK can customize the behavior based on your requirement.

For example, at first it moves slowly, and then it moves quickly at final position.

Of course we can also customize and provide you other behavior whatever you want. The rotary dampers are allowed to control motions.

TOK rotary dampers are used fluid silicone oil to generate torque,
and for the customization of damping behavior we will change the inner design, due to this, the silicone oil flow will be changed and this works for tuning damping behavior.

Alternative product of Hysteresis Coupling

Hysteresis coupling(and magnet coupling)  is a mechanical product to transmit torque by using magnetic force.

For example, it would be used for packing machine and motor protect when over torque is loaded to.
However the hysteresis coupling might have disadvantage on cost-wise and dimension. 
Now we would like to introduce you our magnetic torque limiters. 

TOK’s magnetic torque limiters work as same as hysteresis coupling.

Usage applications are:

●  Electric driver 
●  Tensioner for paper feeding machine(ex. ATM, Copy machine, Flim roller etc.) 

TOK’s torque limiters have been developed especially for monetary instruments and copy machines for more than 20 years.　
However you can consider to use our limiters for other applications.
